Overview:
The constellation Horologium (pronouced hor uh low' gee um) is the 58th most volumous constellation in the night sky with an area of 249 square degrees. The name of this constellation means Clock.

Location:
Horologium is located at Right Ascension 3 h and Declination -60°. Horologium is best seen between the latitudes +30° and -90° in the December. Horologium is bordered by the following constellations: Caelum, Dorado, Eridanus, Hydrus, Reticulum.

Stars:
Horologium contains within its borders approximately 10 visible stars. The principal star of Horologium is Alpha Hor. The brightest of Horologium's stars is GJ 1061 (11.9 ly). Horologium also contains within its boundries the following noteworthy stars: Alpha Hor.
