Dorado (pronouced dor ah' doe) is the 72nd most volumous constellation in the night sky with an area of 179 square degrees. The name of this constellation means Swordfish.

Location:
Dorado is located at RA 5 h and Declination -60°. Dorado is best seen between the latitudes +20° and -90° in the February. Dorado is adjacent to the following constellations: Caelum, Horologium, Hydrus, Mensa, Pictor, Reticulum, Volans.
