The constellation Crux (pronouced kruks) is the 88th most volumous constellation in the night sky with an area of 68 square degrees. The name of this constellation means Southern Cross.

Location:
Crux is located at Right Ascension 12.5 h and Declination -60°. Crux is best seen between the latitudes +20° and -90° in the month of May. Crux is adjacent to the following constellations: , Centaurus, Musca.
