Corona Australis (pronouced see' tus) is the 80th largest constellation in the night sky with an area of 128 square degrees. The name of this constellation means Southern Crown.

Location:
Corona Australis is located at RA 19 h and Declination -40°. It is best seen between the latitudes +40° and -90° in the month of August. Corona Australis is bordered by the following constellations: Ara, Sagittarius, Scorpius, Telescopium.
