an area of 270 square degrees. The name of Columba means Dove.
Location:
Columba is located at Right Ascension 6 h and Declination -35°.
Columba is best seen between the latitudes +45° and -90° in the February.
Columba is adjacent to the following constellations: Caelum,
Canis Major,
Lepus,
Pictor,
Puppis.
