an area of 494 square degrees. The name of Carina means Keel.
Location:
Carina is located at Right Ascension 9 h and Declination -60°.
It is best seen between latitudes +20° and -90° in the March.
Carina is bordered by the following constellations: Centaurus,
Chamaeleon,
Musca,
Pictor,
Puppis,
Vela,
Volans.
