Overview:
The constellation Aries (pronouced air' eeze) is the 39th most volumous constellation in the night sky with an area of 441 square degrees. The name of Aries means Ram.

Location:
Aries is located at RA 3 h and Declination +20°. It is best seen between latitudes +90° and -60° in the month of December. Aries is bordered by the following constellations: , Cetus, Perseus, Pisces, Taurus, Triangulum.

Stars:
Aries contains within its borders approximately 28 visible stars. The principal star of Aries is Hamal. The brightest star is Teegarden's Star (12.6 ly). This constellation also contains within its boundries the following noteworthy stars: Botein, Hamal, Mesarthim, Sheratan.
