an area of 652 square degrees. The name of this constellation means Eagle.
Location:
Aquila is located at RA 20 h and Declination +5°.
It is best seen between the latitudes +85° and -75° in the month of August.
Aquila is adjacent to the following constellations: Aquarius,
Capricornus,
Delphinus,
Hercules,
Ophiuchus,
Sagitta,
Sagittarius,
Scutum,
Serpens Cauda.
