The constellation Antlia (pronouced ant' lee ah) is the 62nd largest constellation in the night sky with an area of 239 square degrees. The name of Antlia means Air Pump.

Location:
Antlia is located at Right Ascension 10 h and Declination -30°. It is best seen between latitudes +45° and -90° in the month of April. Antlia is adjacent to the following constellations: Centaurus, Hydra, Pyxis, Vela.
